Patient education, transparency, quality of care, and mentorship are priorities for Dr. Melissa Williams as a dentist. She makes it a personal goal to leave a lasting positive impression with both patients and staff in each office she works in. She hails from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and attended Florida A&M University for undergraduate studies, then Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine for her dental training. Dr. Williams is known for her strong focus on patient education and her love for mentoring and teaching. Her love for working in various settings started in the military, serving as an Army Captain and General Dentist for four years. Although she remained stateside, she had the opportunity to work as an “associate”, an Officer-In-Charge, an instructor for the American Red Cross Dental Assisting Program, and also as a Forensic Dentist.

After being honorably discharged from the US Army, Dr. Williams worked as a traveling dentist in 5 different states, and still maintains an active license in Florida, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. She now has experience working in pediatric, standard private practice, geriatric, private-home, government, and prison settings.

Dr. Williams now resides in Orlando, Florida and works with Celebration Dental Group. She enjoys the stability and opportunity to spend quality time with her husband and daughter. When she is not at work, she enjoys baking and traveling.
